Dove hunts are underrated and can be full of action. Many people have been humbled by these small birds that can be great practice for other wing shooting. They are a great way to get the whole family in the field. Women especially love dove hunting because it can be such a low stress hunt. Many believe dove hunting to be one of the most fun and exciting hunts in California.

Central California Dove Hunting Locations

These hunts take place in central Central California Valley on private property in a wide range of habitats from orchards, grain fields, and river bottoms. The guide will scout out locations for hunting to have the best success and can set the hunt up to hunter’s physical abilities and requests. We have a lot of experience in teaching new hunters how to hunt, shoot, and be safe.

Seasons are from September 1st through 15th and second Saturday in November extending 45 days.

The Central California Dove Hunting Guide

Hunters meet at designated locations and times. On arrival, your guide will explain safety precautions, and provide a brief explanation on the probable flight and behavior of the birds. Guide will have dog to help with retrieval of birds. Guide, on request, will clean and pack birds on ice.
